Lady Gaga's Halftime Show Received 6 Emmy Nominations

Lady Gaga's Super Bowl LI Halftime Show held earlier this year at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas has received 6 Emmy nominations, being not only the halftime show leading the record with more nominations in history but also the one with more than 115 million viewers in all platforms worldwide for a televised musical performance. The show is competing in the following categories:
 
•🏆 Outstanding Music Direction.
•🏆 Outstanding Special Class Program.
•🏆 Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special. 
•🏆 Outstanding Lighting Design and Direction for a Variety Special.
•🏆 Outstanding Production Design for Variety, Nonfiction, Event or Award Special.
•🏆Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control for a Limited Series or Special.


Gaga was actually involved in 12 of the nominations at this year's Emmys including Tony Bennett's Celebrates 90, American Horror Story: Roanoke and RuPaul's Drag Race 9th season: "Oh. My. Gaga!," These aren't the only Emmy nominations Gaga has received, the PBS special Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek To Cheek LIVE! and HBO’s Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden received noms in 2015 and 2011, respectively.
